Learned some of the following at PubCon from Mr. Vallaeys
1) CTR still matters of course - the higher the better
2) Suggests using 2-3 creatives per adgroup with 5-7 keywords
3) Landing page quailty - design and content - should be relevant to both adgroup and keywords on page
4) Strongly suggested google is looking for a privacy policy - either on a manual or automated basis
5) Was very concerned that people would have a positive experience when visiting your site
MSN also had a very interesting presentation. Their adcenter product was awesome looking, but it is still in beta.
